Simple web site design for very affordable prices!
Are you in need of a simple, good-looking website to promote yourself, but don't know where to start?
I have been building and designing websites as a hobby since around 2007, and have worked with a wide variety of clients and concepts. I have now graduated with an FdA in Multimedia Design and a BA (Hons) in Illustration and Print. I like to work with creative, independent people who, like me, are looking to bring a new kind of audience to their work, and as a result, I try to make my sites as eye-catching as I possibly can.
If you can provide your content, then I can design the site. If there's anything you're not completely happy with, then I won't stop until you're satisfied. If you want someone who is easy to talk to and eager to give you exactly what you want, then I may be the girl for you!

I try to keep my prices as low as possible, since I enjoy a bargain as much as the next person. Also, keeping in mind that I have only just graduated, I set prices to reflect that. Obviously, as I go on, my prices may rise, but for my first 10 customers, I promise that the prices you pay will not go above what you paid in the beginning. Just my way of saying thank you.

Prices would generally start at £200 for a five-page website, for example, like my own, it would include a home page and four other links.
If you'd like extra pages, they can be added for a further £40 a page.
You can pay by Cash or Cheque.
Can you provide hosting/domain names?
I personally do not offer hosting; I will host the site on my own website as a preview, but after the site is finished, you will need to host it on your own hosting package. The fee does not include hosting and domain name charges, but it does include the time and know-how from me in setting them up. If you would like to do it yourself, I personally use www.domainexpress.co.uk (however, they are evil). But I can recommend other sites that provide better service. =]
However, if you would like to do it yourself, please make sure you buy a hosting package that has 'FTP', so I can use it to upload your website.
Will I get charged for Illustrations?
Generally, the illustrations for the site will be included in the price. Obviously, that doesn't mean full-blown, detailed, colour illustrations. It means the illustrations needed for the design of the site would be included. It would really depend on how detailed you want the design of the site to be, how time-consuming the illustration would be and how many illustrations you would like.
The fee for additional illustrations would be discussed when we plan your site. I'm a very nice person, and don't actually like charging people extortionate amounts of money, so feel free to just talk to me about it and we'll see what we can do. =]
I don't have a domain name/I already have a domain name.
If you already have a domain name and/or hosting package, obviously I will need to know any information for uploading/FTP purposes. If you don't already have one, then I can help you with that too, for no extra charge. Just because i'm nice. =]
I try to work as fast as my standards allow, but obviously it depends on the size of the site and the amount of content. When first arranging your site, i'll give you a general idea of how long it will take.
I start when i've recieved half of the agreed total fee. The rest can be paid when you've stated that you're happy with the product. If you pay the rest of the money within 10 days of that date, then i'll even throw in a 10% discount. =]
Of course you can! Obviously, I can't keep doing things for free (i've tried that, and as much as I like it, it doesn't feed me), so the prices will still apply, but if you are lucky enough to be one of my first 10 customers, the price you pay will be from the prices you paid first. Meaning, that even if my prices go up, you'll still pay today's prices. Neat, huh?
Obviously, I can't create a site based on nothing at all! So what i'll need from you is content - text, photos, artwork, video, music - and ideas of the design you would like, such as colour schemes, any images you'd like to include in the design and how big you'd like your site to be. I can provide a logo illustration service for you, but the cost of a logo would depend on what you wanted to use it for and how detailed you want it to be.
Unfortunately, I haven't been trained in e-commerce, which means that I'm not able to create proper online shop websites. But! If it's just a simple, no strings shop you're asking for, I can use PayPal buttons to set up a makeshift HTML shop for you. If a shop is really what you want, then drop me a line and we can discuss how feasible your project is.
